Fans of former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais are desperate for her to return to the show, but in a recent interview, Garcelle shot down any hope of her going back.
During a recent appearance on Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Garcelle reflected on the moment she walked away and whether she sees herself returning.
“I haven’t thought about walking back through the door just yet,” she said. “I felt good about walking out the door, and I did not honestly think that [it was over at the time].”
Her exit came during the reunion, when she left the set before the cast photo. Garcelle shared that her feelings had been building leading up to that moment.
“And I think that was the icing on the cake, when I looked around,” she explained. “I didn’t have a friend. I didn’t have an ally. It just didn’t feel good anymore. It didn’t feel fun anymore.”
Garcelle has also admitted that her former bestie, Sutton Stracke, not having her back was a major reason for her exit. The two, once close on and off screen, are no longer in contact following the reunion.
Sutton recently spoke about the fallout, describing the end of their friendship as a loss. “It’s difficult. I struggle with it still. You know, it’s just so sad. It’s like a death,” she said. “I don’t want to talk about it. It was a big loss. I lost a friend.”
Viewers have complained that the current season has been boring without Garcelle. Sources have hinted that Lisa Rinna could be making a return to try and help revive the show.
