Rapper G Herbo was arrested after police found a loaded handgun during a traffic stop over the weekend.
According to reports, G Herbo, real name Herbert Wright III, was riding in a Cadillac Escalade but it had a Montana license plater and they pulled him over after seeing the vehicle turn without signaling. The police report said when they made their way towards the car, they saw him “making movements with his hands towards the front center console.” Upon closer inspection, a Glock was found in the console and close to 300 grams of marijuana.
He was charged with a misdemeanor count of unlawful use of a weapon and was released after posting a $500 bond. he is also prohibited from carrying a weapon.
Two other men were also hit with misdemeanor gun charges and a third man was charged with felony counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and manufacture or delivery of cannabis for allegedly possessing the nearly $1,500 worth of weed in the SUV.
