Freed rapper G. Dep wants to work with Bad Boy boss Diddy despite all of the mogul’s legal issues.

“I’m like, ‘When? When did that happen?’ You know what I mean?” he told Fox 5 News. “We were in the studio for months on end with each other. So I don’t know where this is coming from.”

“People should give people the benefit of the doubt. If somebody just saying that you did something, you know, people can say anything,” he continued.

Former Bad Boy rapper G. Dep was released from prison earlier this month after New York Governor Kathy Hochul granted the 49-year-old rapper, real name Trevell Coleman, clemency.

On December 15, 2010, Coleman walked into 25th Precinct to turn himself in. He confessed to a cold case crime, the murder of a Queens man in 1993. Coleman had attempted to confess twice before but was previously considered to be under the influence of drugs and incoherent.

He now wants to work with Diddy again, even though Diddy did not visit him during his stint behind bars.

“I got a lot of songs, bro. I’m looking for you so we can get some type of musical situation going,” Dep said.
