Funkmaster Flex addressed the recent backlash over Kenrick Lamar being selected as the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show headlining act over Lil Wayne, and says it’s time for people to stop blaming Roc Nation boss, Jay-Z.
Flex gave Jay-Z probs for bringing diversity to the world-famous event.
“The NFL has never cared about people of color. (Before Jay-Z) (Before [Colin Kaepernick]),” he wrote.
WE GOTTA STOP BLAMING JAYZ FOR EVERYTHING… THE NFL HAS NEVER CARED ABOUT PEOPLE OF COLOR. (BEFORE JAYZ) (BEFORE COLLIN) THE NFL HAS ACCOMPLISHED TURNING US AGAINST EACH OTHER! THIS WOULDNT OF HAPPENED IN TAYLOR SWIFT’S HOME TOWN! LIL WAYNE LEGACY ALREADY WRITTEN IN STONE!

Kapernick took a knee to protest police brutality and racial injustice during the national anthem as a member of the San Francisco 49ers in 2016. He last played for the 49ers in 2017 and opted out of the contract but not other team would sign him. He is desperately trying to return to the league.
Funk Flex continued, “The NFL accomplished turning us against each other! This wouldn’t of happened in Taylor Swift’s hometown! Lil Wayne legacy already written in stone!”
Several celebrities, including Birdman, Cam’ron Nicki Minaj and Boosie Badazz have all slammed the NFL halftime lineup.
