Funk Flex Drops EXPLOSIVE Payola Claims Against DJ Enuff!

Tiffany Brockworth |

Funk Flex has publicly accused DJ Enuff of accepting payola months after his former Hot 97 colleague blamed him for losing his job.

In an X post shared Wednesday, Flex opened with, “DJ ENUFF / HEAVYHITTERS I GOT U FIRED?” He followed with several questions alleging that artists or DJs paid specific amounts for access, playlist placement, performances or spins.

Flex claimed French Montana paid $25,000 for a Heavy Hitters conference call and alleged Maino paid $40,000 for mix-show list additions. He also asked whether N.O.R.E. had been offered a “discount” of $2,500 for a month of spins, whether Myles Brando paid $10,000 to perform at a mix-show meeting and whether DJ Wavy was asked for $2,500 to receive airplay during Summer Mix Weekend.

The post did not include receipts, contracts or other material supporting the accusations.

The dispute follows Enuff’s exit from Hot 97 in August 2025, when the station underwent a major lineup change. Flex stayed with the station and moved into a different time slot.

Shortly after his departure, Enuff told TMZ he believed Flex was responsible for getting him fired. The outlet reported that Enuff lacked hard evidence but remained convinced that his former colleague was involved.
