Funk Flex issued Griselda rapper Conway The Machine with a challenge amid their ongoing dispute.
Conway accused Flex of being a “gatekeeper” and not playing real artists on the radio.
“I just got a text Griselda got dropped from Shady Records,” he said. “I’m not going to lie. There’s something I like about Conway. I’m going to hit him after I get out of here today. If anybody — what’s his name? Conway The Machine. I saw your video copping a plea. You were copping a plea, but you were being a man about it,” said Flex.
“I’m going to send you a beat when I get off of here today and I’m going to give you a week to work on it and I’m going to play it next Thursday. I am going to post that goofy video of you copping a plea also when I get off. We’ll fix ourselves in a minute ’cause I gotta get to Pete Rock.”
