Freddie Gibbs hopped on social media to roast DJ Akademiks over the viral clip of him getting mad at his girlfriend and calling himself “the prize.”
Ak split two women up who appeared to be fighting over him.
“Respect the game!” he yells. “Stop this sh-t! I’m the n-gga! I’m the f-cking prize!”
Freddie found the video hilarious.
“I’m the n-gga? You the n-gga? Oh my God. I’m the f-cking prize,” Gibbs says with laughter.
Ak explained what happened in TSR’s comments section: “My girl was getting in a fight and was drunk. I was stoppin two women from fighting. She got mad cuz women were going up to me in a party taking pics.”
Ak said the red-haired woman tried to strike his girlfriend first and that’s how the brawl broke out.
Ak talked about the fight on Twitch.
“At the end of the day, even if my chick is disrespecting me, and wildin’ out in public…granted, she was drunk. You don’t want nobody to jump your girl. But also, I can’t hit nobody. I can’t hit the other girls, I gotta just be like ‘Yo chill, let’s kinda break it up.’”
