Freddie Gibbs talked about his beef with DJ Akademiks in a new interview.
“I like it that way, it gotta be that way. I’m from Gary and sh-t I gotta represent for them and you punking me, you punking Gary,” he says in the clip.
“I love DJ Akademiks, I like Gunna, I be bumping his shit I like that sh-t ‘I can’t f-ck with Freddie Gibbs,’ that’s my sh-t. I know these n-ggas is not me. I’m something different, and that’s cool, it’s all love. We just leave it at that. We different n-ggas, ain’t nobody gonna get hurt ain’t nobody gonna punch nobody ain’t no nobody gonna shoot nobody,” he said.
The interview was reportedly before he suffered a beatdown in Buffalo.
Gibbs has threatened Ak on Twitter several times:
“I coulda been smoked Akademiks. His hoe gave me his home address months ago. The n-ggaz in LA he was with last week was not gon protect him if I walked in that no jumper interview. I know all of them. God got bigger plans for me but when I get bored I’m back on yo ass. On VL,” he wrote last year.
