A “Second Family” Betrayal? Cascio Family Files Bombshell Abuse Lawsuit Just As “Michael” Biopic Shatters Records!
Media Take Out has the absolute darkest “MJ” tea to hit the internet in years, and the timing could not be more calculated. Just as the world is heading to theaters to watch Jaafar Jackson bring his uncle to life in the new biopic Michael, the family once known as Michael’s “second home” has officially declared war on his estate.
Dominic and Connie Cascio, along with four of their children, filed a massive federal lawsuit yesterday, April 24, 2026. After 25 years of being Michael’s fiercest public defenders—appearing on Oprah and supporting him through his 2005 trial—the Cascios now claim that behind closed doors, Michael was a “serial child predator.”
The “Jesus Juice” & “Disney Juice” Allegations
The details in the 23-page filing are enough to make your stomach churn. The Cascio siblings claim that starting when they were as young as seven, Michael groomed them with lavish gifts and a jet-set lifestyle, only to allegedly drug and assault them for over a decade.
- The Code Words: The suit claims Michael used phrases like “Can I have a meeting?” or “Go to Disneyland” as code for abuse sessions.
- The “Juice”: According to the complaint, Michael referred to wine as “Jesus Juice” and hard liquor as “Disney Juice,” which he allegedly used to intoxicate the children.
- The Substances: The family alleges they were plied with marijuana and prescription drugs including Xanax, Vicodin, and even Viagra.
The Secret $16 Million Payoff?
Why now? That’s what the Jackson Estate is asking. Media Take Out has learned that this isn’t the first time the Cascios have brought these claims to the estate.
Reportedly, back in 2019 following the release of Leaving Neverland, the family and the estate struck a secret agreement. The estate allegedly agreed to pay the family roughly $16 million over five years to keep the peace. But when those payments dried up in 2025 and a new “multi-million dollar” negotiation fell apart, the Cascios took their story to the courts.
Estate Lawyer Marty Singer didn’t hold back, calling the suit a “transparent forum-shopping tactic” and a “desperate money grab” designed to extort hundreds of millions from the estate just as the biopic is set to bring in a fortune.
“Worse Than Jeffrey Epstein”
The lawsuit dropped the same day Leaving Neverland director Dan Reed went on a scorched-earth press tour. Reed told The Hollywood Reporter that the success of the new biopic is “proof that people don’t care that Michael was a child molester.”
“People will just swallow any misgivings and say ‘Oh well, it’s a great jukebox movie,'” Reed slammed. “They completely ignore the fact that this guy was worse than Jeffrey Epstein.”
“Michael” Biopic Still Slaying The Box Office
Despite the bombshell lawsuit, the movie Michael is currently having the biggest opening weekend for a music biopic in history.
- Domestic Projection: Heading toward a massive $85M – $95M opening.
- Global Impact: The film has already shattered records in the UK, Italy, and Brazil.
- The Vibe: Fans seem to be separating the man from the music, with many “Bardi Gang” and “Beyhive” members spotted at midnight screenings across Atlanta and LA.
Is the Cascio lawsuit a “brave” late-in-life deprogramming, or is the timing—dropping on the same day as the movie—the ultimate sign of a “shakedown”? Let us know in the comments!
