Former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of a DUI charge by the Washington State Patrol.
According to the police report, Sherman was stopped by the Washington State Patrol for going 79 mph within a 60 mph zone in Bellevue at 2 am. When asked, Sherman told the cops he drank two margaritas and agreed to a voluntary test.
Officers say Sherman’s eyes were bloodshot and watery and that there was an “odor of intoxicants.” He was arrested and booked at the King County Correctional Facility and a hearing for the conditions of his release will happen today.
In 2022, Sherman caught heat after a caucasian woman named Reina Westberg claimed to be Richard’s side chick and even posted pictures of his alleged child. In 2021, the NFL free-agent was arrested on domestic violence charges after trying to break into his father-in-law’s house. At the time, his wife Ashley has left Richard … but they have since reconciled.
