Former ‘RHOSLC’ Jen Shah Released From Prison Early

Jen Shah is out of prison and back in the spotlight, stunning the Bravo world all over again. The former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City firecracker was unexpectedly released Wednesday, more than four years early from her six and a half year sentence.

According to spokesperson Emery Nelson, Shah has quietly slipped from a Texas federal prison camp into community confinement. Nelson said she is now either in home confinement or a halfway house, but would not reveal which, citing safety and privacy, per NBC News.

Shah’s dramatic fall began in 2021 when she was arrested on camera in connection with a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme. Fans will never forget her emphatic TV claims of innocence or her now infamous tagline,

“The only thing I’m guilty of is being Shah amazing.” But in 2022, she reversed course and pleaded guilty to wire fraud.

A judge later sentenced her to 78 months behind bars and ordered her to forfeit millions in cash and luxury goods.

Fans were hoping for Shah to make an explosive return to the Bravo series, but Andy Cohen slammed the brakes earlier this year.

“I wish her all the best in her next life. I would assume she’ll wind up on a reality show of some kind, but won’t be anything I’m working on,” he said. “I don’t know if I could see Bravo working with her again.”
