More details have emerged about former Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Katie Rost, who is receiving treatment after experiencing what her husband described as a drug-related medical emergency.

Concern spread after messages were posted to Katie’s social media account and later deleted.

In the posts, her husband said he was sharing an update to reassure fans following the incident. “My wife is in treatment. I have her phone. Thank you for the messages,” he wrote, adding that she was safe and nearing the end of detox. “I’m upset. She is okay. Gets out of detox soon.”

He later followed up with another message, alleging that Katie had taken MDMA before suffering a seizure. He said she had already planned to enter treatment, but the episode happened first. He also urged the public to show restraint.

“The people who have footage, please don’t share it,” he wrote, ending with, “Like she would say #respect.” A final update read, “All that matters. She is okay.”

Katie, 45, has not publicly commented.

Katie appeared on the Bravo series when it premiered in 2016 and later returned in a reduced role. In recent years, she has spoken candidly about addiction, custody struggles and rebuilding her life. In 2022, she shared that she completed rehab and later acknowledged setbacks along the way. She tied the knot with her new husband this summer.
