Former Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton found herself in real-life drama on Wednesday, November 19, when Atlanta police arrested her at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Officers say the 40-year-old reality TV alum was taken to the Fulton County Jail without incident.
Police claim Mia was wanted over an alleged late-night furniture heist. According to a police report, a property management company contacted authorities on behalf of a condo owner who had rented the unit to Thornton.
The report accuses the former Bravolebrity of clearing out the place in the middle of the night on October 28.
The landlord told police that the tenants didn’t just move out but allegedly took everything that had been inside the condo before move-in, including a TV that had been mounted to the wall. Investigators put the value of the missing items at about $11,000.
Mia left RHOP earlier this year after four seasons, announcing on Instagram that she had relocated to Atlanta and would not return for the next season.
At the time, she called the move a fresh start and described her run on the Bravo franchise as a whirlwind filled with big lessons and unforgettable moments. Fans speculated that she would join the Real Housewives of Atlanta, and even though Mia expressed her willingness to join the show, she was not invited to join the cast.
A month ago Mia Thornton was on live hollering at the news of Wendy Osefo’s arrest. Today, she was arrested for larceny.

The shock arrest comes weeks after the current Potomac Housewife, Wendy Osefo, and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were arrested on felony fraud charges.
