Former Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Damon Arnette was indicted in Las Vegas on assault with a weapon and concealed firearm charges.
According to the cops, Arnette flashed a .45-caliber handgun during an argument with casino valets, threatening one of the men outside the Park MGM hotel. The NFL star was arrested on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
Prosecutors last year dropped drug and weapon charges against Arnette, citing a lack of sufficient evidence in the case.
The Raiders cut Arnette during the 2021 season after a video circulated of him holding a gun and making death threats. He then spent time on the Dolphins practice squad and was signed to a future contract by the Chiefs after the season. The Chiefs cut him just a week after signing him after the Las Vegas incident.
