Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani in Critical Condition After Hospitalization!

Rudy Giuliani has been hospitalized in Florida, his spokesperson confirmed, sharing an update on the 81-year-old’s condition.

“Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition,” spokesman Ted Goodman said in a statement released Sunday. “Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak. We do ask that you join us in prayer for America’s Mayor — Rudy Giuliani.”

A cause for his hospitalization has not been publicly disclosed.

Giuliani served as mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001, gaining national recognition during his tenure in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks.

In the years that followed, Giuliani remained active in public life and launched a campaign for U.S. Senate in 2000 before stepping aside after a prostate cancer diagnosis. He later sought the Republican presidential nomination in 2008 but withdrew during the primary process. More recently, Giuliani served as an advisor and attorney for Donald Trump during and after the 2016 election and his legal work drew scrutiny in connection to the 2020 election, leading to multiple legal challenges.

In 2024, Giuliani was indicted in Arizona over matters tied to that election cycle. He was later disbarred in New York and Washington, D.C.

His condition remains under care as updates are awaited.
