Forest Whitaker’s es-wife Keisha Whitaker passed today, after a battle with a serious illness, Media Take Out has learned.
Forest and Keisha’s 25-year-old daughter, True, shared the news today on social media, writing, “goodbye mommy. I love you 4ever and beyond. the most beautiful woman in the world … thank you for teaching me every single thing I know. I’ll see you in my dreams and I’ll feel you in my heart.”
The family has asked for privacy regarding Keisha’s death.
Forest and Keisha were married in 1996 after meeting on the set of the 1994 film, “Blown Away.” They have two other children daughters Sonnet, 27, and 32-year-old Autumn.
In 2018 Forest filed for divorce from Keisha after more than 20 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
