Video footage of rapper Spotemgottem’s arrest after fleeing from Miami police on a jetski has surfaced online.
The rapper is seen sitting in their boat alongside the jetski.
The rapper was riding an orange jet ski when he was trying to escape from police officers on Sunday in Miami, according to the Miami Police Department.
Police reportedly found an AR-15 to be in his possession.
Spotemgottem was charged with reckless operation of a boat, fleeing police, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated assault.
SpotemGottem is best known for of his single “Beat Box” single after it reached #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020. He released “Back From The Dead” in December.
Last year he was injured during a drive-by shooting on Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade County. He was shot in both legs and in the hip but luckily he survived the shooting. The rapper has not addressed the arrest but is currently out on bond.
