Adidas is working hard to sell off its remaining Yeezy inventory after ending their partnership with Kanye West following his anti-semitic rants on social media.
Now, according to Complex, the sports store is refusing to stock any more sneakers because they ar scared they’ll receive bad PR.
At the time of Ye’s rants, Footlocker released a statement criticizing the rapper.
“Foot Locker, Inc. does not tolerate any form of antisemitism, or hateful and discriminatory behavior,” a spokesperson said. “While we remain a partner with Adidas and carry a wide assortment of their collections, we will not be supporting any future Yeezy product drops, and we have instructed our retail operators to pull any existing product from our shelves and digital sites.”
Adidas is hoping to recoup some of the money it hoped to make from the sale of the remaining Yeezy, which no longer has the backing of West after they dropped him.
Ye is reportedly planning on making a major comeback.
