Fetty Wap Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges

Media Take Out Staff |

Rapper Fetty Wap pleaded guilty to a conspiracy drug charge and now he’s facing up to five years in prison.

The rapper was arrested last October on charges alleging he was part of a drug ring that smuggled heroin, fentanyl and other drugs into the New York City area. Fetty pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances. If he had not taken a plea deal and was found guilty, he would have faced life in prison.

“I agreed with other people to distribute cocaine,” he told the judge. “I knew the conduct was illegal.”

Fetty Wap was also recently arrested for allegedly threatening to kill someone while arguing with them on Facetime.

The rapper was indicted on a drug trafficking conspiracy charge in October and was ordered that he “must not possess a firearm, destructive device, or other weapon,” and that he “must not violate any federal, state or local law.” He was given bail but his bail was revoked.
