Media Take Out learned that the beautiful New York lyricists has decided to change up her look, now that she’s gained international stardom. And some of her fans are wondering if she’s trying to “Whiten” her look, to gain a new pop audience.

Ice Spice, real name Isis Gaston, is an American rapper. She began rapping in 2021, and she rose to popularity with her 2022 single “Munch (Feelin’ U).”
Ice Spice started rapping in 2021 after meeting producer RiotUSA while the two were attending SUNY Purchase, where Ice Spice eventually dropped out. He produced her debut song, “Bully”, released in March 2021. Her song “Name of Love” gained traction on SoundCloud, which led to her becoming popular on Instagram. Ice Spice’s song “Munch (Feelin’ U)”, released in August 2022 with a music video and produced by Riot, gained popularity after getting support from Drake, who played the song on his Sirius XM radio station, Sound 42.
The song subsequently went viral on Twitter and TikTok, and charted on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. In September 2022, she was featured on the song “One Time” by B-Lovee. That same month, she signed a record deal with 10K Projects. On October 28, she released the single “Bikini Bottom.”
