Fat Joe is one of the latest guests on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay and during the interview, he weighed in on Dame Dash and his recent legal issues.
“He’s in a point of his life… very sad to see what’s going on with Dame Dash, right. But sometimes, [you’re] so smart that you stand in the way of yourself and you block your own blessings,” said Joe.
In March, a judge ordered Dash to sell his Roc-A-Fella shares to pay off his $823,000 debt to filmmaker Josh Webber and Muddy Waters Pictures. Dash has also been embroiled in lawsuits over child support with his ex-wife and Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt.
Fat Joe says he has no beef with Dash.
"I respect Dame Dash as a brilliant mind. He did so much for hip hop culture. I can't drag him while he's down. It's sad to see where he's at right now to be honest. … Sometimes you're so smart that you stand in the way of yourself and you block your own blessings." – @fatjoe pic.twitter.com/c6pkYCizpJ

Dash’s attorneys accused Jigga of intentionally trying to sabotage Roc-A-Fella’s auction.
“JAY-Z has issued widely publicized statements warning potential bidders that copyright ownership will revert back to him in 2031,” attorney Gerald E. Singleton wrote in the letter to Judge Lehrburger.
Dash has recently been telling his side of the story via his America Nu Network.
