Fat Joe says he’s praying for Diddy as the disgraced mogul’s homes were raided by the feds last week.
The New York rapper was asked to weigh in on the scandal during a recent Hot 97 interview.
“What I can say in the most respectful way is, I don’t know all the details. But I’ve been praying for him and his family. He’s my friend for 30 years. And so, I’m gonna just see what the outcome is, and I’m praying for the best thing for him, and his family, and everybody involved,” he said.
He continued: “So I’m not disrespecting nobody. I’m just praying for this whole situation…this whole nightmare…I’m praying that it goes away.”
Homeland Security Investigations seized Diddy’s phones from his home in Miami before he was scheduled to depart for a trip to the Bahamas. The raids in his LA and Miami homes were connected to allegations of sex-trafficking and sexual assault and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms.
Diddy claims he is innocent.
