Viewers of TLC reality show 90 Day Fiance were left shocked after Shekinah appeared to forgive her partner, Sarper for pulling out her hair extensions during an argument.
Sarper has been accused of being misogynistic and controlling in the relationship, but physical violence is a step too far, and fans are urging her to leave him.
Shekinah met with Sarper at a cafe after staying in a hotel following the incident.
“I can’t sleep,” he said as soon as he sat down, instead of apologizing for laying hands on her. “I’m taking sleeping pills and I’m just waking up. I’m overthinking nonstop.”
Shekinah failed to sympathize, telling him, “Sarper, you ripped my hair extension out of my head. Have you even asked me one time if my head is okay?”
Sarper claimed it was an “accident” before Shekinah revealed that she had already been in a violent relationship.
She agreed to give him another chance but vowed to leave him if he puts his hands on her again.
