Drake’s security guard was shot on Tuesday morning outside of his Canadian home, just days after his beef with Kendrick Lamar ended.
But even though Drake fans blamed Kendrick for leaking his address (which was already out in the public domain), fans brought up the fact that the security guard for The Weekend’s manager was shot outside of his home last week and that the shooting is not linked to Kendrick at all.
Amir Esmailian, aka Cash XO, founded XO Records with Grammy Award-winning artist.
Last Monday, police received a man reporting that he had been shot by three armed men wearing hoodies and surgical masks. The shooters then fled the scene. OVO and XO have been beefing for years and fans have been following the beef and commenting on it online and there are entire Reddit posts detailing the beef.
Kendrick: “Tell 'em run to America, they imitate heritage, they can't imitate this violence.”
