Media Take Out has some pretty exciting tea for all you fans of Wendy Williams. According to people close to Wendy’s team, the talk show queen has been in talks to have a new daily talk show … this time on CNN.
CNN recently announced that it is changing focus …. away from polarizing politics, and more towards general news. They have a slate of new shows coming out in the fall, including a show with Gail King, and possibly another with former NBA star Charles Barkley.
Well Media Take Out learned that the network approached Wendy Williams team, and are exploring a potential re-boot of Wendy Williams talk show on the news network.
The insider explained, “CNN wants Wendy to return, once all her health issues are cleared up.”
Wendy Williams has been working hard to get her health under control, and Media Take Out can confirm that it’s definitely working.
Wendy spent some time at an alcohol rehab, and has been getting treatment for her Crohn’s disease, and we can confirm she’s in the best shape that she’s been in years.
We asked our insider, how far along negotiations are with CNN – and Media Take Out was told that the negotiation is close to being a done deal.
The insider told us, “They want Wendy, but Wendy has to be ready to take on a grueling daily filming schedule. I think she’ll be ready soon.”
We can’t wait to see Wendy back on TV again …
