Tory Lanez got into a FIST FIGHT with R&B singer August Alsina last night, according to reports – and word is that Tory knocked August unconscious, Media Take Out is hearing.
The reports of the Tory-August fight spread like wildfire all across social media, and have both men as trending topics.
The report, which first showed up on Instagram stated, “Tory Lanez KO’d August Alsina tonight after August got froggy with Tory over something Tory said months ago.”
“Tory was trying to show him love and August wanted to take it to a negative place & got knocked out,” the report added.
The report, which Media Take Out has not been able to independently verify – but has been circulating across social media continued, “August felt some kind of way because Tory said months ago he wouldn’t have ‘snitched’ on Jada like August did. Tory tried to shake his hand and August ignored him. Tory asked him about it and August got negative and told him to keep that same energy”
The report claims that the incident popped off in a Miami parking lot, and that Tory hit August with a two piece, that put him to sleep.
Tory Lanez is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He received initial recognition from the mixtape Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story, released in August 2013. In 2015, Tory Lanez signed to record producer Benny Blanco’s Mad Love Records through Interscope Records.
Lanez’s debut studio album, I Told You (2016), included the singles “Say It” and “Luv”, which peaked at number 23 and 19 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively. In 2018, Lanez released his second and third studio albums, Memories Don’t Die and Love Me Now? His fourth studio album Chixtape 5 (2019) peaked at number 2 on the US Billboard 200. In 2020, he released his fifth studio album Daystar, which debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured controversial responses to the allegations of him shooting fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion earlier that year. Lanez received a Grammy Award nomination for his song “Luv” as well as four Juno Awards.
August Alsina is an American singer from New Orleans, Louisiana, formerly signed to Def Jam Recordings. He released his first mixtape The Product in 2012, followed by The Product 2 and his debut extended play (EP) Downtown: Life Under the Gun in 2013, the latter released under The-Dream’s Radio Killa Records and Def Jam Recordings. Alsina then his debut studio album Testimony in 2014, after garnering success from the Platinum-selling singles “I Luv This Shit” (featuring Trinidad James) and “No Love” (featuring Nicki Minaj).
The album was followed up by This Thing Called Life in 2015. After leaving Def Jam and a long hiatus, he released the EP Forever and a Day in 2019.
