We spoke to people close to Ashanti who told us that Nelly was right there by her side, helping her through the process. And that Ashanti and her new son are both healthy …. but exhausted.
According to Ashanti’s close family friend, the singer and Nelly want to be private with the birth – at least for the next few days. But they expect that Nelly and Ashanti will do a complete birth reveal to their fans in the next week or so.
