The new season fo Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is going to be CRAZY. Media Take Out spoke with multiple people connected with the show, and we have EXCLUSIVE details.
According to our snitches, Erica Mena attacked Spice, and sent her to the hospital, after throwing a table into Spice still healing chest wound … and it could have been really bad.
By now, you’ve seen videos all across social media, where cast member Spice goes in on her Love & Hip Hop co-star Erica Mena.
In the videos, Spice blasts Erica, and says all kinds of disrespectful things about the Latina, and her marriage to Safaree Samuels.
Well now we know WHY Spice went off.
Media Take Out learned that Spice, who is recovering bring from open chest surgery and still has stitches holding her chest cavity closed, was attacked by Erica, who “threw a table” right into Spice’s chest.
One person close to production explained, “Spice and Erica were arguing, and Erica threw a table right into Spice’s chest. It hit her right where her stitches were, and we all thought they burst.”
We’re told that after the melee, Spice was rushed to the hospital, for precautionary purposes. And luckily no damage was done to her.
But doctors told her that if the table would have hit her in a different spot, it could have been FATAL.
Love & Hip Hop producers are considering suspending Erica, or possibly firing her over the incident, Media Take Out confirmed. The incident was, however, caught on camera and will play a very central role in the coming season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
Queen of Dancehall Spice suffered from a ruptured hernia and sepsis late last year, after she was getting liposuction and a BBL in the Dominican Republic.
In a statement, which was shared to Instagram shortly after the incident, Spice explained what transpired which resulted in her being rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.
“Thank you Jesus for saving my life. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Hey Besties I’m in a better space today to properly update you on my current health situation,” she began.
“I suffered a damage hernia a few days ago that sent my body into sepsis, as a result I was rushed to the hospital for immediate surgery.”
Spice’s complications came as she was receiving cosmetic enhancement surgery in the Dominican Republic. It’s been a long road to recovery, and Spice has had multiple procedures to try and fix herself.
She’s much better now, but she’s still not completely healed.
