We were at the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight, and spoke with a person affiliated Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions who dropped a bombshell. According to the insider MVP has been “negotiating” with legendary boxer Laila Ali for a return to the ring. And her opponent would be Clarissa Shields.
If they pull this off – it would be the biggest woman’s boxing fight in history.
Laila, 46, dominated women’s boxing from 1999 to 2007. During her career, from which she retired undefeated, she held the WBC, WIBA, IWBF and IBA female super middleweight titles, and the IWBF light heavyweight title. Ali is widely regarded by many within the sport as the greatest female professional boxers of all time. She is the daughter of boxer Muhammad Ali.
But one person challenges her legacy, and that’s Clarissa Shields.
Clariss, 29, is currently undefeated in boxing, and is considered the best pound-for pound fighter in the world. And many consider her to be the best female boxer in history.
