We hope you enjoyed Beyonce’s latest album Renaissance, because it looks like it has come and gone. Media Take Out learned that Bey’s latest album has lost SIGNIFICANT steam since being released a little more than two weeks ago.

The album took the world by storm, and despite what the naysayers believed – it looked like it was going to be another HIT. The album sold 330,000 units in its first week.

And while those numbers aren’t in line with Beyonce’s past albums, the music industry has changed – and those numbers were EXTREMELY good for any new album.

But now that the initial intrigue with Beyonce’s album has died down, so have the sales. Media Take Out confirmed that sales of Bey’s album are expected to drop by almost 75% between the first and second weeks.

And yes, we have receipts. Look:

If this trend continues, Bey’s album will quickly move out of Apple Music and Spotify playlists soon.

Beyoncé is one of the world’s best-selling recording artists, having sold over 160 million records worldwide. She is the first solo artist to have their first seven studio albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200.

Her success during the 2000s was recognized with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)’s Top Certified Artist of the Decade as well as Billboard’s Top Female Artist of the Decade.

Beyoncé’s accolades include 28 Grammy Awards, 26 MTV Video Music Awards (including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award in 2014), 24 NAACP Image Awards, 31 BET Awards, and 17 Soul Train Music Awards; all of which are more than any other singer. In 2014, Billboard named her the highest-earning black musician of all time, while in 2020, she was included on Time’s list of 100 women who defined the last century.
