According to a friend of the couple, the pair’s romantic relationship has deteriorated significantly, since Halle gave birth to their son.

The friend explained, “They went from having a fun, go on vacations and red carpets, relationship … to a who’s feeding the baby and changing diapers relationship.”

“It’s taken a toll on them both, and I think DDG wasn’t ready for all the responsibility,” she added.

Media Take Out confirmed that the couple no longer follow each other on social media, and that Halle has removed almost all pics of DDG from her Insta-feed. DDG reciprocated the favor, by unfollowing Halle.

Sad … but we’re not at all surprised.

Halle is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She first became known as one half of the musical duo Chloe x Halle with her sister Chloe Bailey. They have released the albums The Kids Are Alright (2018) and Ungodly Hour (2020), and have together earned five Grammy Award nominations. In 2023, Bailey released her debut solo single “Angel”, which was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best R&B Song.

As an actress, Bailey starred in the television sitcom Grown-ish (2018–2022).

In 2023, she had her first lead role as Ariel in Disney’s musical fantasy film The Little Mermaid, earning nominations for a Saturn Award and a People’s Choice Award. That same year, she had a supporting role in the musical film The Color Purple, for which she won an NAACP Image Award and received nominations for a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Critics’ Choice Movie Award.
