Erica Mena put her ex-husband Safaree Samuels on blast after the reality star posted a video of himself “giving back” to impoverished children in Jamaica.
“I want to start giving back more, and uh, I don’t why lately, [maybe] this trip is just making me see things different [but] I have to do it, so if you’re somebody who know me, link me up if you want to help in any way,” he said in the clip, asking people to donate school supplies.
Safafree says he has already been helping families by purchasing beds and fans.
Mena claims that Safaree has no idea that their two children has started school, implying he is a deadbeat.
“Here I am feeling guilty because I wasn’t there due to work. And while I’m feeling guilty, motherf-ckas is out here trying to make the world believe that they actually have a charity because they care about other people’s children,” Mena said. “How can you care about anybody else’s children when you don’t even care about your own?”
Mena and Safaree married in 2019 and had two children together. Their relationship played out in front of the cameras on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta before Mena was fired for hurling racial slurs at cast member Spice.
