Elon Musk is feeling the heat after Mark Zuckerberg’s Threads app, a Twitter rival, beat social media records for signups.
The Threads app recorded 70 million sign-ups just a day after its official release as of Friday morning. Now Threads has crossed the 100 million sign-up marker, making it the quickest app to 100 million members.
Elon is mad.
“Zuck is a cuck,” Elon tweeted. “I propose a literal d-ck measuring contest,” he wrote in a separate tweet.
Elon’s attorney, Alex Spiro, also sent a letter to Zuckerberg last week accusing Meta of engaging in “systematic, willful and unlawful misappropriation of Twitter’s trade secrets and other intellectual property.”
A Meta spokesperson denied the allegations.
Fans also accused Elon of tweeting from his burner account by mistake.
“I spent $44 billion for this app and now Lizard boy just decided to hit copy and paste. It’s personal now. See you in the cage, Zuck,” he wrote.
He denies it was him.
