Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, have reportedly left the country after Donald Trump won the 2024 US presidential election.
According to TMZ, the couple moved all the way across the ocean to the Cotswolds in South West England.
DeGeneres endorsed the vice president online two months ago.
“There’s nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come!! I can’t wait for @KamalaHarris to be our next president,” she wrote in the post.
After Nov.5, the couple reportedly put their Montecito mansion up for sale and will also be selling another property in California.
Trump has said he plans to get rid of everyone who turned on him or tried to bring him down after he left office in 2021.
“Wouldn’t it be terrible to throw the president’s wife and the former secretary of state … into jail?” Trump told Newsmax of Hillary Clinton. “It’s a terrible, terrible, path that they’re leading us to and it’s very possible that it’s going to have to happen to them.”
