It’s been more than two years since her eponymous show was cancelled but according to a new report, Ellen DeGeneres is still upset salty about the show’s ending and the way her peers treated her.
“Ellen’s decision to walk away from Hollywood is irrational, shortsighted and selfish and really comes from this place of ungrateful anger,” a source told In Touch. “It’s only natural that when you see a bunch of articles about what a bad person you are it can feel like the whole world is against you but that is simply not the case with Ellen.”
Ellen was accused of running a toxic workplace and being mean to her staff and to some of the show’s talent. She denied the allegations but her show came to an end in May 2021 after 19 seasons.
She has still been booked and busy and has been touring and she also has an upcoming Netflix comedy special.
“Ellen needs to be thankful for what standing she still has. Everybody doesn’t hate her,” the source continued. “The bosses at Netflix absolutely love her and if they could do five specials with her, or even revive her talk show, they would snap their fingers and make it happen.”
