Ebro Darden has responded to Joe Budden’s claims that he was asked whether he was a “seat filler” while attending the Hot97 Summer Jam this past weekend.
Ebro reacted to Budden’s claims on Twitter.
“[crying face emojis] U think a concert that only makes $$ on sponsors would pay people to be in seats? Ya’ll a wild bunch,” he tweeted.
Ebro then shared texts from a group text with Funk Flex and TT Torrez.
“Most ridiculous lie ever told. Trying to use his platform to dimension our brand when he was an invited guest to our show. I really don’t understand the reasoning for this!” said Torrez.
Flex responded with a sunglasses emoji.
“Since I don’t manage Summer Jam any longer the team that does has a message for ya’ll…. And @JoeBudden [crying face emojis],” Ebro wrote
“What’s this about?” Budden replied.
“Tweets. Play along. Say something controversial,” said Ebro.
Budden later revealed the woman who asked him does not work for Hot97.
