Dancing With The Star professional Artem Chigvintsev has been arrested on charges of domestic violence just days before his two-year anniversary with WWE star Nicky Bella.
On August 29, Chigvintsev was charged with corporal injury to spouse and he was given a $25,000 bail.
“When someone is charged with felony domestic violence, usually this means there is a visible injury or credible eye witness,” Napa County Sheriff’s public information officer Henry Wofford told E! News in a statement. “Our deputies felt comfortable arresting him on felony domestic violence charges.”
On August 26, Chigvintsev posted a touching tribute to his wife.
“Happy anniversary my love , can’t see my life with out you
You are my everything,” he wrote alongside a picture of them on their wedding day.
Nikki Bella is one of the most popular female WWE wrestlers before her retirement in 2022. After breaking off her engagement to fellow WWE champ, John Cena, she married Chigvintsev after meeting on the talent reality show.
