More details have surfaced following the arrest of Dancing With The Stars professional, Artem Chigvintsev and his fiancee, Nikki Garcia.
Chigvintsev was arrested on charges of domestic violence just days before his two-year anniversary with the WWE star .
On August 29, Chigvintsev was charged with corporal injury to spouse and he was given a $25,000 bail.
“When someone is charged with felony domestic violence, usually this means there is a visible injury or credible eye witness,” Napa County Sheriff’s public information officer Henry Wofford told E! News in a statement. “Our deputies felt comfortable arresting him on felony domestic violence charges.”
A source told Entertainment Tonight this week that the couple had a “huge argument” prior to the arrest and that they had been “butting heads” for a while.
Now it appears that Chigvintsev is trying to win Nikki back and that she holds all of the cards.
“Artem has been trying to make it up to Nikki and get her back since, but she is exploring her options, including divorce,” the source continued.
