Former NBA star Dwight Howard has officially come out as gay, and is now using his gayness as a defense to a s***al abuse lawsuit launched against him by a gay man.
Embed from Getty ImagesAs a defense to the abuse claims, Dwight Howard’s lawyers released a series of text messages – sent by the NBA star – where Dwight was “love bombing” the gay man.
In the messages, Dwight calls the gay man “baby” and tries to break things off with him.
“No hard feelings either baby I genuinely f— with you & care for you but it’s obvious that s— isn’t mutual so I gotta fly girl dip lol no matter what you always gone be special to me & I wish you nothing but the best xoxo,” the gay man’s message to Dwight read.
But when Dwight didn’t respond, the accuser changed his tune, texting, “the loyalty & respect is out the window now (be)cause you tried it…I have all my receipts & more so don’t ever think you got over on me, now it’s f— you.”

“It’s like you want me to air our business out & I been trying to keep it peaceful, but you are making it hard. I would rather not do the spiteful s—. But if that’s what you want keep ignoring me.”
Again, Dwight ignored that meddle, and the accuser continued to rant on text messages, saying, “& since we heartless I will speak on this publicly when I’m ready …. Would rather keep between us but imma just use you how you used me. Not personal.”
Embed from Getty ImagesEventually the accuser declared, “I’m getting my parade too dammit,” allegedly intimated he planned to contact Dwight’s mother and sister.
“We’ll start with hitting them up first,” he allegedly wrote.
