Duane “Keefe D” Davis Denied Bond Again In Tupac Murder Trial

Tiffany Brockworth |

Duane “Keefe D” Davis has been denied bond for a second time after Wack 100 put up the $750,000 bond.

The judge is still concerned that the money provided by Wack could be part of a cover-up related to the sources of the funds for his bond.

“I have a sense that things are trying to be covered up,” Clark District Court Judge Carli Kierny said.

Kierny went on to say that she received two near-identical letters from the entertainment company that Wack claimed sent him the money, but one of the letters was signed by someone with no affiliation to the aforementioned business.

Keefe D’s lawyer reacted to the judge’s ruling.

“Judge Kierny does not at this time have the legal authority to prevent Mr. Davis from being paid any proceeds deriving from his story related to his life or any connection he allegedly has with the murder of Mr. Shakur,” Arnold argued.

Keefe, who has confessed multiple times to being connected to Tupac’s 1996 murder, denies shooting Pac. He says he was in the vehicle where the shots were fired from and that he even handed the shooter the gun.

According to prosecutors, Wack said he wanted to record interviews with Keefe D before and after his release, but the judge says this would violate his order that Keefe D should not profit from his statements. The judge will now review all bank statements before making a ruling.
