Drew Sidora says she did not plot against K. Michelle and is no longer being forced to leave the home she shares with estranged husband Ralph Pittman for now.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star addressed both the Bravo drama and her offscreen housing battle after Michelle accused Drew, Phaedra Parks, and Porsha Williams of working together against her during the cast trip to Dallas. Drew pushed back during Reality Nightcap.
“I never have,” Drew said, via @nochaser_tv on Instagram. “I have no desire to plot against someone I don’t know. So the truth of the matter is, I know of her from her previous shows and for her singing R&B music and entering into the world of country. I know that.”
Drew said part of the reason the accusation surprised her is that she had not spent much time filming with the women early in the season. While viewers saw less of her on RHOA, she said she was focused on her acting career and promoting her movie Run.
“At the beginning of the season, you guys really didn’t see me that much because I was on my press tour and we were premiering my movie Run that came out in the movie theater,” she said. “So I was in LA, I was in New York, and then we did the premiere in Atlanta. … It was a whole lot of things going on. And so I wasn’t around the girls as much.”
By the time the Dallas trip came around, Drew said she was just trying to reconnect.
“So Dallas for me was like, let me get into the vibes. Let me catch up with everyone. I haven’t really been around,” she continued. “So when [Michelle] brought this up, I was really flabbergasted because I’m like, I haven’t even really talked to the ladies. I haven’t really been around.”
Drew said she was “very confused” and had gotten “no clarity” about Michelle’s accusation.
“We have to get to the bottom of it,” she said. “We want to get to some answers. And I really want her to just be honest. … Use your vocabulary. Use your vernacular.”
Away from the show, Drew scored a temporary legal win after a Georgia judge ruled last week that she does not have to vacate her marital home with Ralph at this time. Drew had argued that the May 31 deadline would have made her homeless amid their divorce.
Her feud with K. Michelle continues on screen. In last night’s episode, Drew was seen performing the national anthem at a tribute event for late rapper Rich Homie Quan. K. Michelle hid out in her vehicle until after Drew’s performance, before telling her in front of everyone that she was not there for Drew but for the fallen rapper’s family. Viewers slammed the singer for the unnecessary shade and doubted her claims that Porsha Williams and Drew have been plotting against her.
