The Cardi B vs Ice Spice battle has officially begun. Last night, Cardi B fired the first shot in the battle against her younger rival … and it was a pretty vicious blow.
Media Take Out has been telling you guys about simmering tensions between Ice Spice and Cardi B for months. As we reported, Cardi and her team believe that Ice Spice has been stealing her style, and taking subliminal shots at the Bodak Yellow rapper since Ice Spice first got hot.
And things went into overdrive a few months back, when Ice Spice refused to allow Cardi onto her remix of Munch. And after refusing Cardi, Ice Spice stealthily signed to Nicki Minja’s record label.
Now Cardi has had enough. Media take Out has confirmed that Ice Spice and Cardi B both performed last night at New York’s Hot 97 Summer Jam concert, with Cardi being the headline artist.
And during her show, she decided to fire shots at Ice Spice, who wears a curly red afro, by singing a Little Orphan Annie song in the middle of her set.
