Drake’s team is putting an end to speculation that the rapper secretly has another child on the way with his former teenage sweetheart, Keshia Chanté.
The rumors took off after Chanté announced on Tuesday that she is expecting a son, but kept the identity of her baby’s father under wraps.
As fans began linking her pregnancy to Drizzy, his representative, Melissa Nathan, stepped in to clear the air. Speaking to TMZ, Nathan said the rapper’s camp could “completely and unequivocally deny” the rumors, dismissing them as “inaccurate.”
Chanté shared her exciting news with Hello! magazine, posing for maternity photos and discussing her next chapter as a mother.
She also referenced “Mommy & Daddy” while celebrating the pregnancy, but did not offer any additional details about her partner.
The Canadian musicians were romantically involved in their teenage years in Toronto, and Drake later identified Chanté as his first girlfriend and has remained on friendly terms since their breakup.
The “Hotline Bling” hitmaker already shares a son, Adonis, with artist Sophie Brussaux. He confirmed his fatherhood on his 2018 album Scorpion after the news became public, thanks to Virginia rapper Pusha T, who leaked the news amid a rap beef.
