Drake’s Lawyers Respond To XXXTentacion Murder Case Subpoena

Media Take Out Staff |

Drake’s attorneys filed a motion over the weekend for rapper Aubrey “Drake” Graham not to have to appear for a deposition related to the murder trial for three men accused of killing rapper XXXTentacion.

The attorneys for the killers want Drake to appear and a judge granted their motion last week, compelling Drake to sit for the deposition.

Judge Michael Usan issued an order stating, “as a result of Aubrey Drake Graham’s failure to appear for the deposition set on Jan. 27, 2023, Aubrey Drake Graham shall appear for deposition at 5:00pm EST on Friday, Feb. 24th, 2023.” If Drake failed to show for the deposition, he would be dragged to court to explain his no-show.

Dedrick Williams, Trayvon Newsome, Michael Boatwright, and Robert Allen all face charges in connection with the killing.

Drake and XXX had beef after X accused Drake of stealing his style and his music.

“If anyone tries to kill me it was @champagnepapi [Drake]. I’m snitching RN,” the post said, XXX once tweeted before deleting.
