Drake’s father Dennis Graham has denied reports that Drake’s new song, “Resue Me,” which features a clip of Kim Kardashian speaking on her reality show about her ex-husband, Kanye West, is meant to troll Ye.
“I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy, remember that,” Kim says in the clip.
Dennis commented on TMZ’s post and denied his son was trying to hurt Ye, who divorced Kim last year.
“Drake is not trolling anyone,” he wrote. “It’s just a song. Why try and create a Kanye and Drake beef again?”
In the comments, fans did not agree that Drake was not trying to jab Ye. Some called him “corny” while others told him to let the beef go. Ye and Drizzy temporarily squashed their beef and even came together to put on a show to help free Larry Hoover. The truce ended when Ye made anti-Semitic remarks. Drake is also Jewish.
