Rapper Drake and Lil Yachts are coming under fire – for sampling a wholesome Christian rap song, which is well loved by children. And they used the track to add vulgar lyrics.
The original song, entitled Goodness Gracious, is a song about an innocent love. It offers subtle Christian messaging in it. It’s a HUGR hit on TikTok, especially with kids.
Media Take Out learned that the song’s author, a Christian gospel producer Mr Hotspot, agreed to let Drake and Yachty use the sample – so long as they changed the lyrics to make sure that the song was “child friendly.”
The producer reasoned that, since the song will be listened to by children, he wanted to make sure that he was sending the right message with his song.

Well Drake and Yachty were like – SCREW THAT. Media take Out learned that Drake and Yachty are scheduled to release a very vulgar version of the song – which is called “Goodness Gracious Super Soaker.”
