Drake has released his new song, “Search & Rescue” which features a sample of Kim Kardashian.
The clip was taken from a conversation Kim and her momager, Kris Jenner, about her marriage to Kanye West.
“I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy,” Kim K. “Remember that.”
The song was initially thought to be a jab at Ye, but Drake’s father, Dennis Graham spoke out and denied it.
“Drake is not trolling anyone,” he wrote. “It’s just a song. Why try and create a Kanye and Drake beef again?”
In the comments, fans did not agree that Drake was not trying to jab Ye. Some called him “corny” while others told him to let the beef go. Ye and Drizzy temporarily squashed their beef and even came together to put on a show to help free Larry Hoover. The truce ended when Ye made anti-Semitic remarks. Drake is also Jewish.
Kanye has not spoken out about the sample. Listeners also believe Drake used Kim’s image for the cover art.
