R&B singer Bobby Brown can now be called DR BOBBY. Media Take Out learned that the “King Of R&B” has received an honorary degree from the Leaders Esteem Christian Bible University.
Leaders Esteem Christian Bible University was founded with the purpose of helping and preparing students and everyday professionals to succeed in achieving their calling, ministry, professions, and entrepreneurship desires while fulfilling their dream of higher education.
Bobby Brown, accompanied by his wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown were granted the doctorate at the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House 4th Annual Gala. The University president Dr. Verna Caddie bestowed the honor on the R&B King, Media Take Out has learned.
After the award ceremony, Bobby and his celebrity friends enjoyed a day of fun, in honor of his deceased daughter Bobbi Kristina.
Founded by Bobby Brown and his wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown in memory of their daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, whose life was tragically lost to domestic violence in July 2015, the 501(c)3 non-profit organization aims to eliminate the epidemic of domestic violence against women, children, and families.
In addition to advocating passionately for those impacted by abuse and providing essential services such as free confidential 24-hour emergency counseling and transitional safe havens, the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House recognizes the interconnected issues of homelessness and mental health.
