Dorit Kemsley and estranged husband Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley’s divorce continues to get messier, and now the reality star’s camp is claiming that PK has stopped paying the utilities for the home he used to share with her and their children.
In a legal letter obtained by TMZ, Dorit’s attorneys denied suggestions that she opposed selling the couple’s home and claimed she had been cooperative throughout discussions about the property.
“First and foremost, contrary to PK’s representations, Dorit has always been agreeable to placing the house on the market as long as reasonable protections are in place,” the letter states.
According to the filing, Dorit sought financial support, including an immediate $50,000 payment, while negotiations continued. Her legal team also accused PK of intentionally refusing to pay the mortgage despite allegedly being able to afford it.
“PK’s intentional use of financial gamesmanship has placed Dorit and the children in a constant state of uncertainty by design,” the letter claims.
Dorit’s lawyers further alleged that several utilities connected to the home, including electricity, gas, and internet service, went unpaid for extended periods, forcing the reality star to step in and cover the bills herself.
Sources connected to the situation strongly disputed the allegations against PK. According to those sources, PK paid household expenses for years before deciding to stop after Dorit allegedly spent more than $1 million on clothing and travel while not contributing to the mortgage.
