Dorit Kemsley says she was blindsided by financial trouble after trusting her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, to handle their family’s money.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star alleges in new court documents obtained by TMZ that PK’s handling of their finances left her vulnerable, with unpaid household expenses eventually threatening her credit.
According to Dorit, money conversations were difficult long before their marriage ended. “[PK] controlled the family finances,” she stated in the filing. She claims her attempts to become more involved were “treated as distrust,” causing her to step away from financial decisions and leave the responsibility to him.
Even after their 2024 separation, Dorit says she believed PK would keep paying the household bills.
That confidence allegedly unraveled in February 2026 when she discovered their gas service was facing disconnection.
Although PK reportedly made a payment to keep the gas running, Dorit claims other outstanding utility balances had accumulated without her knowledge.
Because the accounts were in her name, she alleges her credit suffered.
PK, however, disputes her version of events.
He maintains that Dorit’s income from Bravo and endorsement deals exceeds his own and denies agreeing to pay her expenses indefinitely.
Neither has reached a settlement.
